It’s sales, which aren’t always the best, but you do get a base pay so you don’t have to worry about not getting the sale. There are bonuses for getting higher sales. You also have to train in putting screen protectors on, which can be very difficult at first. If it’s a busy day, the work can seem almost calming and monotonous. I've learned how to process warranty claims and process refund requests. Management seems okay but I don't see any black leadership. They could work on that. Hardest part of the job is trying to help customers who are angry about having to pay for shipping. It can be mentally exhausting taking phone calls all day. it used to be good ole fashion customer service now they just look at each contact with a customer as an opportunity to make a sale. Not everyone wants to sell!! Get a separate department for that! Overall though, helping customers makes me feel like my job is important. I'm not sure if these are issues with company finances and long term stability, but it has moved on many ways away from customer service and closer to sales. They micromanage so bad even though you are told they don't. They allow all customers to talk to their employees in a disrespectful manner and then award them for bad behavior. It's downgrading knowing a company allows customers to mentally bully and curse at the employees without consequences and we can not do anything.
