It’s just ok

This job had amazing benefits and perks. You don’t work holidays or weekends either. Their pto also accrued quickly. Overtime is pay and half. My trainer was awesome and the pay was above average. Training was super laxed as well. They don’t force you to be on camera or use all of your monitors like other call center jobs. The callers were a lot friendlier than most call center callers. Most were older people happy to receive assistance w/ their medication. There were cons though. Training only lasts a month then you’re left to sink or swim. The side tasks you’re given along with taking calls can get overwhelming. Tasks include calling other departments, logging each call, filling out forms, messaging your team, emailing supervisors, etc. There’s so much to remember, it drove me nuts. This is definitely not the job for someone who can’t give it their all (college students, single parents, the elderly). It is not a simple job by any means. New hires also are forced to work later shifts which doesn’t work everyone. I explained my circumstances to my manager and didn’t receive any assistance. Like other call center jobs, you’re just a number. It’s not the worse but it will get draining quickly.

A fair and decent company
|
The work is hard mainly because we are constantly understaffed but the company is fair, benefits are pretty good with PTO and parental leave. Not a lot of room to grow your career.

This place is a joke.
|
If you want to work somewhere where you have work life balance and aren't treated like nothing more than a number, don't work here. You will be forced to work long hours of up to 12 hours a day up to 6 days a week and will be punished for leaving early, even if already on overtime and you'll never know the time you'll get off from work. The leadership is extremely incompetent and a lot of the leads/managers (not all but a lot) are very toxic and do nothing to help with the work, just bark orders at you and overwork you more. Zero opportunities for growth, all higher up positions are filled from outside and the pay stays the same regardless of how long you work here. Extremely short breaks for the hard intense work you have to do which are heavily monitored and you are given a hard time for coming back even the slightest bit late meanwhile leadership can take as many smoke breaks as they want. This place cares more about your numbers than they do about your wellbeing and they will bully you around if you don't hit the numbers they want you to. Would give zero stars if I could honestly, this place really takes a toll on your mental and physical health. Only good part I can think of is the associates I worked with but the leadership and policies/rules both were a complete joke. Also a heads up that this place claims to be climate controlled but the warehouse is extremely stuffy and insufferable, no proper airflow at all.
