In this connection, when assigned to a particular department, to perform details of work such as the following as well as other similar clerical duties.</p><p></p><p>When assigned to the General Accounting Department:</p><p></p><p>Perform some but not necessarily all of the following operations:</p><p></p><p>Check coal and freight invoices and apply identification codes; investigate outage on machines listings of coal received; maintain controls to balance machine listings; compute freight and coal costs; prepare coal reports, maintain coal record files; and perform other related work.</p><p></p><p>Summarize and classify detail of various accounts and prepare reports thereon.</p><p></p><p>Maintain notes receivable record, make entries thereto and prepare necessary invoices, etc; inspect and check entries to accounts receivable from outside contractors maintain control thereof and prepare necessary invoices, etc.</p><p></p><p>Inspect records previously segregated for destruction, referring questionable items to accountant or supervisor.</p><p></p><p>Transcribe data to prepared form for machine preparation of personal automobile expense report.</p><p></p><p>Be responsible for revisions in the classification of accounts manual. This does not include responsibility for determining the actual revision to be made, but does cover the complete clerical operation of receiving instructions from accountant or supervisor as to revisions, preparing sheets for typing, type checking, inspecting, assembling, controlling and distributing copies.</p><p></p><p>Be responsible for the accuracy of voucher checks issued in payment of materials, services, etc.; maintain control of such vouchers and cash disbursements; and perform related work.</p><p></p><p>Maintain sub-ledgers, analysis books, or similar records, posting monthly entries therein and balancing to control.</p></div><div><p></p><p>When assigned to the General Accounting department (continued):</p><p></p><p>Perform stores accounting clerical work such as the investigation of major physical inventory outages (including overhead truck outages) and the preparation of correcting entries; the inspection of price lists and the correction of erroneous prices; the investigation and correction of negative balances; and other similar stores accounting clerical work.</p><p></p><p>When assigned to the Valuation Department:</p><p></p><p>Develop and maintain the less complex property records for which fixed routines are established such as those for overhead lines, meters, transformers and general equipment accounts, etc.</p><p></p><p>Assist accountants in the development of more complex property records and in other phases of valuation work.</p><p></p><p>Perform other clerical work in connection with property records, overheads, depreciation and other related valuation work.</p><p></p><p>When assigned to the Financial Accounting Depart:</p><p></p><p>Prepare transcripts of various accounts, summarize and classify entries, referring questionable items to accountant or supervisor.</p><p></p><p>Prepare miscellaneous :financial and statistical data.</p><p></p><p>Prepare statements, reports and charts of a routine nature and assist accountant in the preparation of more complicated statements, reports and charts.</p><p></p><p>Assist accountant I the preparation of monthly payroll and operating budget reports, to staff members and to the Budget Committee.</p><p></p><p>Summarize and balance payroll data from machine and other reports, to prescribed forms; and perform other related work.</p><p></p><p>When assigned to Treasury Technology Services:</p><p></p><p>Perform financial accounting clerical work such as reconciling variances (internal control point) between bank activity and general or sub-ledger transactions. Prepare formal monthly reports denoting identified variances; investigate variances and communicate issues detected to the originating parties; the investigation and correction of negative balances; and other similar accounting clerical work.</p></div><p></p><p>Prepare statements, reports and charts of a routine nature supporting variances identified and assist the accountants in the preparation of more complicated documents, reports and charts.</p><p></p><p>Inspect records previously segregated for destruction, referring questionable items to accountant or supervisor.</p><p></p><p>When assigned to Treasury Technology Services (continued):</p><p></p><p>Maintain sub-ledgers, analyze the books or similar records, and assemble the required detail for posting entries therein and balancing to control.</p><p></p><p>Maintain the accuracy of various internal systems (including systems under the control of other departments) manually correcting rejected items within the systems. <div>If end date is listed, the posting will come down at 12:00 am on that date:</div><p><b><i>About The Position</i></b></p><p><i>The Gas Engineer – Pipeline Integrity performs integrity project engineering and project management duties in order to comply with AIC Integrity Plans (transmission, distribution), code and compliance activities, records research and management related to the construction, operation, and maintenance of the gas transmission, storage, and distribution facilities with an emphasis on safety, reliability, system integrity, cost effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.</i></p><p></p><p><b><i>Key responsibilities include:</i></b></p><h2></h2><ul><li>Lead pipeline integrity initiatives that comply with AIC’s integrity plans, implement AIC’s integrity plans, ensure compliance with code requirements, evaluate integrity assessment results, develop and maintain risk algorithm functions.</li><li>Provide technical support, analysis, and project management for ECDA/ICDA/In-line inspection and other assessment processes and integrity repair assessments.</li><li>Analyze assessment results, data, records, and mapping and make recommendations for appropriate additional preventative and mitigative actions (TIMP) and/or additional and accelerated actions (DIMP).</li><li>Develop and maintain processes to ensure accurate and timely tracking of performance measures, integrity data, and reports.</li><li>Develop and enhance gas records systems and processes for data collection.</li><li>Ensure construction, maintenance, and pipeline integrity work is completed according to pipeline safety regulations and Company standards.</li><li>Plan, design, budget, engineer, and oversee gas integrity construction and replacement projects related to assessment results, data analysis, reliability, system integrity, highway and road relocation, system growth and capacity, and essential maintenance for the gas transmission and distribution systems.</li><li>Assist with Corrosion Control, Planning, and Gas Engineering activities including design, construction, maintenance, pigging, and pipeline safety regulatory compliance.</li></ul><h2></h2><p><b><i>Qualifications</i></b><br /> </p><p>Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Civil, or Chemical or other related Engineering Degree from an accredited college or university is required. Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification or P.E. (Professional Engineer) registration preferred. Natural gas transmission, natural gas storage or natural gas distribution related engineering experience preferred. Pipeline integrity experience preferred. Knowledge of Esri GIS software is preferred. Every day, we deliver electricity to 1.2 million electric and 812,000 natural gas customers in more than 1,200 communities in central and southern Illinois.</p><p></p><p>Duties:<br />Under direct but not constant supervision, to do a full range of overhead line construction and maintenance work on the electrical transmission, sub-transmission, distribution, or service systems; to do such work on lines either dead or energized and at all voltages; and to perform similar and less skilled work as required.</p><p><br />Qualifications:</p><ul><li>For consideration to this position, candidates MUST have successfully completed A.L.B.A.T. The nature of this role will require the individual to interact regularly with broader Company leadership.</i></p><p><b><i>Key responsibilities include:</i></b></p><ul><li>Assess financial statement risks to verify the completeness of existing controls and reduce SEC reporting risk.</li><li>Lead cross-functional teams to design controls for new processes and system implementations that mitigate financial statement risk and meet control objectives. CPA also required. Master's Degree preferred. Five or more years of accounting or relevant experience required. In-depth internal controls experience required. In addition to the design, the Manager is responsible for the corporate standards for Private LTE (pLTE) FAN to substations, works headquarters, and generation sites. The Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of the Intelligrid- PLTE projects and operational readiness.</i></p><p></p><p><b>Key responsibilities include:</b></p><ul><li>Provide leadership to define, justify, and hire all resource requirements necessary to design, deliver, and operate a PLTE fiber network and 100's of private LTE cell sites for support of AIC and UEC PLTEFANs.</li><li>Provide direct leadership of over 20 Ameren professionals including Engineers and contractors. Also, provide leadership over several different teams from PLTE and multiple consulting design firms.</li><li>Provide leadership to ensure the successful and timely design and implementation of Ameren’s backhaul communications and integration to Ameren's backbone MPLS network.</li><li>Provide leadership to ensure the successful and timely design and implementation of Ameren's Private Wireless network (PLTE) supporting the PLTE FAN network.</li><li>Provides Cyber security guidance, protection of network assets, and continuous cyber improvement awareness.</li><li>Provide QA of all networking delivery processes supporting Information Technology as well as Operations technologies</li><li>Provide technical guidance and support in the creation and revision of design standards and equipment specifications to ensure that projects will be built safely and efficiently.</li><li>Develops industry and Ameren enterprise strategies as well as points of views on networking technology.</li><li>Provide technical leadership in the standardization, qualification process and ultimate selection of equipment manufacturers including fiber medium, networking equipment, software to manage the network</li><li>Define and assist with training or acquiring resources to deliver a robust network operations center, and field service support.</li><li>Work with and guide program and project leadership to ensure project budgets and schedules are met.</li><li>Participate in and keep abreast of industry developments and improvements related to utility communications design for FAN and fiber backhaul technologies.</li></ul><h2></h2><h2><i><span>Qualifications</span></i></h2><p>Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Mathematics or equivalent computer or applicable business related major. Master's degree in engineering or business is preferred. Seven or more years of electric utility industry experience or equivalent is required. Possible equivalent experience would be providing applicable consulting services to electric utilities. Five or more years of supervisory, team leadership or large (>$5M) project experience required.</p><p></p><p><b>In addition to the above qualifications, the successful candidate will demonstrate:</b></p><p>Creative self-starter with strong interpersonal skills – able to work effectively as a team and with various stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
