Poor management all around at Dubreuilville mine
|
They have the worst turnover I've ever seen in a workplace at this mine. 3/4 of the HR dept left when I was there. Same happens in many other dept. It all come from the top. My coworkers were decent, but the MGM treats everyone like peasants so everyone leaves. Find another place to work if you have any skills. They will be wasted working at this mine.

Are always pushed bye company to get it done safety is a after the fact matter just get it done. For the most part all the people their are not happy with the company and the way they run their mine but is a paycheque and everyone keeps shut about things. Are very quick to write you up for disciplinary actions without really doing any investigations think hard about coming to work here

I am an employee Security is still a problem, management does not care to listen, guards know the problem and they are not listened to. They were told the problem at head office and it falls on deaf ears. Often very short handed due to guards leaving.

Horribly run site

This place was horrible to work at. You will be blamed for things that are not your responsibility. Raises given out previously were taken back and given to management. You will literally get fired for getting hurt because of their subpar work conditions. Would not recommend. Plus this place is in the middle of nowhere at least 1.5 hour drive to site.

Not the greatest place to work

Worked at Alamos for 2.5 years. Wasn't the greatest experience I've had. Poor management, no communication with departments. Some of the people were nice, But my time was up there and the wages were the lowest I've ever had in an underground mine.
