The work is some of the most exciting in my career so far. I have a great collaborative team and supportive management.

AR has some of the worst benefits in the industry. 4.5% match on 401K, expensive health insurance, etc. Supposedly we will roll into L3Harris benefits on 1/1/24, so hopefully things get better then.

Better pay than most in industrial park
|

-Pay is decent for the area -Plenty of meetings throughout the day -Lunch options are: food truck, gas station, or community college diner. -Overtime pay only if over 48 hours (paid as straight time). -Nice end of year bonus was a whopping $100 with taxes taken out of it so about ~$60
|
-Most high dollar programs will usually have multiple quality engineers working on them, Aerojet believes in the opposite, one engineer should have multiple programs. -Most of your day is meeting about problems you can’t fix because you’re having meetings about said problems. -Mandatory overtime where they try to keep you at that 48 hour mark so they get free salary labor. -Was once asked by someone if they can sell their vacation since they haven’t taken one in 2 years because the programs he was on would fall apart if he didn’t work 50-60 hours a week. -Top management likes to get everyone in a big meeting to announce a new strategy they want to do to improve things here. After about 2-3 weeks they give up because it was too much effort.
