The company is highly understaffed, company morale is low, incompetent people in important/senior positions, backstabbing to get ahead, promotions to the same people multiple years in a row with no regard for hard work put in by lower-ranking employees, long work hours until you are respected, HR is useless, lots of turnover in each department with not enough replacement. The list goes on but those are the important ones.

Although management has a lot of experience in the RE field, they lack the skill to make important decisions. The decisions they make, whether financial or HR related are what seem to be decades old practice, especially on the HR side. First what is appalling is the faux push for DE&I and ESG which is just a check-off box for senior management. Management talks about how they put “people over profits” but that is far from the truth. From promoting only certain people multiple years in a row to subjecting certain departments to be in the office everyday while others are never there, the decisions being made make no sense. As stated above, the company is understaffed and management either is so incompetent they don’t see it or just don’t care. The hardest working employees are simply left in the dust. This kind of management style is not going to last and I urge HR/senior management to do something about it.
