- Opportunities to work on wide variety of projects. Different types of plants, customers, locations all across the US and Canada.
- Great benefits, pays above market.
- Some departments have great managers and mentors. A lot of smart people and top notch technical capability in R&D.
- Lot of flexibility in work schedule.
- Diversity and inclusion is taken seriously (but feels too much at times).
- A world-class headquarter building in Allentown, Pennsylvania
- Business class travel for flights greater than 9 hours regardless of pay grade.

- Rapid expansion after 2020 has stretched the organization thin. Low morale due to excessive workload, exploding costs and schedule delays on majority of North America projects. Monthly and quarterly reviews turn into blaming sessions by executive management.
- High turnover and many experienced employees have retired early or gone to competition. Linde is stealing top talent now that they have an office in Allentown. The hiring rush to staff multiple megaprojects has resulted in influx of unqualified people across all EPC functions.
- Critical lack of engineering resources in the US organization, especially process controls. Poor quality of deliverables by India engineering, where most design is outsourced.
- Empty offices due to mixed messaging on WFH policies and total lack of accountability by some employees who never show up.
- Greenspoint location disliked by majority of Houston area employees. Multiple security issues due to high crime in the area (catalytic converter thefts, stray bullets).
- Little to no onboarding process.

Remove poor performers. Give more time and resource to proposals team to produce better estimates and more accurate budgets and schedule. Go back to what Air Products is known for and stop chasing IRA money on hydrogen megaprojects with questionable economics. More speed and simplicity.
