Health insurance (for family too) and life insurance fully paid for. ARE pays into your 401K based on % of your gross income which is immediately fully vested regardless of whether or not you invest yourself. Big bonuses and competitive base pay (plus overtime pay if you work it). Typically only supervisory roles are salaried. People do care about you here. If you're sick, you get to stay home while people cover for you so you don't return to a mountain of work. If you're REALLY sick, the company uses it's resources/network to find you help by some of the best doctors/facilities in the US. Good place for people who don't like mundane work. There's always opportunities to learn and do more challenging work. Great place to develop a career. Absolutely not a pigeon hole.

Scheduling time off can be tough around quarter and year-ends as ARE is a public company and we have SEC reporting obligations.

When an employee expresses concern about a fellow co-worker then gets let go, it’s a problem; when another employee is hired in the same position as the first employee and after a few months the second employee expresses the same exact concern about the same employee without knowing the first employee’s concerns and then the second employee is let go even after the “problem employee “ admits guilt of doing such things that the second employee voiced is really bad! Then a third employee is hired in the same capacity as the first and second employee and is let go for the exact same reason as the first and second employees is a pattern where the common denominator is the “problem employee” it’s about time that management take a look at this problem employee and remove them from the department instead of continually letting go of the innocent employees that are trying to actually do their jobs. I’m not sure about the first and third employees but I know I went to management and HR to voice my concerns and the problem employee was written up and made to take anger management classes, but nothing changed… she continued to be a bully and ARE allowed it!
