I don’t recommend

Adtalem manages to get good colleagues to work with. Adtalem has recently gone through a lot of restructuring and changes. Every manager is out of touch of the mission. The primary focus is to fake being a good company. This place is like a revolving door. Many good employees leave due to low compensation, lack of opportunities, and bad management. Adtalem also lays off on a monthly basis.

Depends on your department and manager if there is a pro.

There is a lot of favoritism and politics here. Forced RTO, decent benefits, and bad job security is a reason to apply somewhere else.

Fully remote, you will work fast and hard

A nice perk is HO colleagues are mostly remote. It is very fast paced here, and feels unorganized / unfocused a lot of the time, mostly due to competing leadership priorities and understaffing. It feels like you can be laid off at any moment if you don’t live up to unrealistic expectations.

Mostly you're calling people who've been on the call list for years and yell at you to take them off. If someone loses interest in "the process", even for a legitimate reason, you can't take no for an answer. You're taught all kinds of scripts to loop them back in. For profit education is much more for for profit than it is education.

Boring, not much room for growth

It is very hard to get professional development. Teams are broken into silos without any cross training. I got very bored most days. If you have a good manager, it's better, but if you have a bad one, they will be there forever and you may as well move on.
