What is the best part of working at the company?
Working with good people in the lab and departments and JSA meetings at lunch.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Calculating chemical properties to insure quality for production products
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very strict company safety policies and procedures regarding work conditions.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very tight schedules. Work 12 twelves on/off. Report to work on time. 7:00am. 30 minute break at 10:00am. 1hr lunch at 12:00pm 30 minute break at 4:00pm clock out at 7:00 pm. No sitting around unless in the laboratory department.

Great for skill application.

Performed duties that included electrical, electronics, pneumatics, hydraulics, welding as part of a maintenance/electrical tech. I throughly enjoyed my time there. Most employees were wonderful to work with. I truly miss working there.

Good opportunities when one applies themselves.

Union reps tend to "screw" the people they are supposed to represent.

Cool manufacturing & great people

Diverse & interesting manufacturing processes making cool parts for cool customers. Something about the place draws in awesome people. Felt valued. Company offered good support and appreciation throughout my career. Priority disorganization is an issue, but getting better. Work load often greater than capacity so that can be stressful & results in a predictable end of the month/end of the quarter mad dash. Would have appreciated a more flexible start/end time. Hybrid remote options were starting to become acceptable, but in my case only when necessary. Over the years it has lost some of its human touch that helped make the place so great, but has been making genuine efforts to improve this recently.

The work culture at ATI Forged Products is toxic. There is no communication between departments and management does not care to promote from within. You will be expected to take on more responsibility without recognition or additional compensation. ATI has incredible turnover as no one chooses to stay once they realize how terribly managed the facility is. I've seen good employees resign out of frustration while lazy, immature, and unethical employees are allowed to stay. This company plays favorites and they've already been chosen. If you're looking for a career or value your sanity, DO NOT waste your time here. ATI Forged Products is not worth it.

Not a good place to work! Cut benefits all the time

They don't care about employees. Say they have ethics and integrity but don't have a clue of what those words mean! If they don't like you they will railroad you to get you out of there even though other people are doing the exact same thing or worse. Lay off every 4 years and don't care how long you been there but they keep the sorry or inexperienced help. If you not in the 'the good ole boy' group they'll do everything they can to get rid of you. And HR and management is a FREAKING JOKE!! Seen several CO workers get rail roaded trying to advance of move to another job. Election is in 2 years so they'll be laying off at that time. It use to be hard to get on here but ask yourself why they running some many hire ads now and it's not bc of covid. They just suck and treat employees bad and now have a bad reputation!!
