Pro:
Tons of overtime available, easy job, clean work environment, starting pay rate is well above average, flexible break time policy, free water bottles, no uniform, off every holiday, vacation time is giving upfront on the 1st day of every year.
Cons:
- Payroll is 1 month behind, and you get paid every 2 weeks.
- You can have a good or horrible trainer (mentor).
- Some teams and employees can be toxic and super rude.
- NO sick time is given to anyone. You won't get paid for calling in sick.
- You can be held over to stay longer once your shift has ended IF you have worked less overtime than your teammates during the whole year.
- This place can be SUPER HOT during summertime.
Armstrong is a good place to work and make big money :)

Pretty conservative company in terms of values. Sometimes this played out well, but often it meant for an environment that wasn't very inclusive. Need to work on inclusivity to attract the right workforce.

Human resources and upper management is only problem
|
HR is very wishy-washy and the managers above your supervisor couldn't care less about the employees. Supervisor down are awesome to work for and with. The pay is pretty good and you do get to train for new positions, at the needs of the company and line.

I was there as a temp. They have trainers called 'mentors'. I feel my mentor gave false information on my performance. Seems to me if the mentor doesn't like you, your gone! I was told by my mentor how great I was doing, just to get a call from the temp. agency that armstrong no longer wanted me based on my performance. Also, I pulled a muscle in my shoulder and had to take it easy just for a couple of days. I'm 53 and it had been a minute since I used those particular muscle groups, but I recovered just fine after a couple days like I had mentioned. Maybe they had no hesitation in slandering my work ethic over the fact of being liable for the injury one who is 'up in years'. Don't be fooled by the pay increase chart that you see in the overview, you have to jump through hoops just to get to the next level.

12 hour shifts mon-thurs. 10hr Fri. Volunteer overtime on sat. Not alot of free time but if you need to take an hour or a day off. They are very lenient. Super nice boss

It was an easy, laid back place to work. Co-workers were helpful and fun to work with. My supervisor on evenings was one of the most understanding and kind (and funny) people I've ever known.

The culture at ACGI in Marshfield is deplorable. You mean pretty much nothing to them as a human being. They treat people like a piece of property, are always short handed and wonder why. Over 30 people turned over in the 2 months I worked there. No training. No guidance. No work/life balance. Upper management is one of the worst 8ve ever seen.
