Focus on production, heavy work load, easy to get burned out. It is work, learned a lot about my limits. Management focused primarily on production, but somewhat flexible, depending on personal relationships. Somewhat drama. Performance expectations relatively high, quite challenging for those who chose to accept the environment. Good money, plenty of overtime. Tries to be somewhat personable, but very judgmental. Not a good work-life balance. Intense work environment. Towards the end, I noticed that certain CNC machine operators were promoted to “process tec” positions which allegedly means “sit on your phone and do nothing if your boss likes you”. Evidently they either think they are that much smarter or you are that dumb, neither is the case. Poor money management leads to poor equipment performance and maintenance.
