not really a stressful environment, sometimes you have alot to test in lab

it's very hot in areas of the plant, and there are solvent smells
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
go clock in, change into uniform, go to lab,get turnover from previous shift, have shift meeting, get batches to test

El ambiente laboral es excelente. Ahí tuve mi primera experiencia, porque fueron mis prácticas laborales. Aprendí, me desarrollé laboralmente, adquirí conocimientos, aporté y me abrí paso al campo laboral.

Bien salario, horarios flexibles y múltiples beneficios.

Los practicantes no tienen posibilidad de crecer dentro. Al menos no en el tiempo que yo ingresé.

People are nice. Manager wasn’t helpful. On vacation 3/4s of the year. They pay the managers the big bucks to take 3 week cruises and forward you there work at 3am since they’re sailing on the other side of the world.

Pays good money here. No complaints. Everyone’s helpful here. Couple of cunning senior guys in the union (Just be careful whom you talk to). Otherwise, the this place is cool.

Place Was managed into the ground by upper management

Upper management drove the company into the ground. Way too many overpaid management types who don't actually do their jobs. 60 year company was managed into closure in a matter of years.

I wouldn’t recommend anyone to work for Axalta, there’s no room to grow and management holds you back from moving up in the company, they will blame and suspend you for something that was done on another shift, when I left I actually did better with the company that I went to, I get paid more money, treated fairly, and have a work/life balance. There is no work life balance at this company like there are at other companies, so if you are thinking about working here don’t do it! There’s a big turn over and they can’t keep people, you would be a lot better off somewhere else! This company is very unorganized and there’s poor management! Leaving this company was the best thing that ever happened.
