Decent work environment and pay, extrusion currently tops out around 24.75/hr. Depending on the department you work you may end up being saddled with lots of mandatory overtime (they can’t ever drag you in Sunday against your will though). Basically impossible to get first shift unless you’re a supervisor’s son/friend or something.

Management and HR seems to get gutted/remodeled almost every 2 or 3 years....which in today’s workforce and economy isn’t out of the norm. Belden is constantly Striving to improve upon their bottom line and be the lead competitor in today’s cable, coax, and conductor market. The floor personnel are like a second family I truly mean that. Some very hilarious, honest, smart, and extremely hard working individuals have found their way into Belden’s workforce pool and it shows by how competitive we are in this niche market. No company could survive for over 120 years without a strong, positive, and productive labor force driving them to the front of the pack so to speak. I made just be one of the hundreds of regular sled dogs helping to pull the sled in the race, but Belden does a good job of making every individual that is helping pull them forward in the market feel important and needed. I love my job here. The pay and benefits are just a perk, it’s the atmosphere and people that make me love my job.

DEI propaganda abounds, but work/life balance is outstanding
|
Workplace culture is the only complaint I have about Tripwire. They've bought into the DEI propaganda, though it's not the worst I've seen as far as companies go (and it's Portland, so one might expect some of that anyhow).
The pay was okay - benefits were good, but the time off policy was outstanding.

Good pay and benefits, however company needs a culture adjustment. Everything is KPI driven and therefore everyone is only looking after their own interests as to get a bonus. Once you reach your goals, the bar is raised to make it harder to reach every year.

managers good to work for.
Quality work will get you a bigger bonus check.
Insurance is great.
It is very hard physical work and quality work is number one. Continuous shift means paid lunch but you have to eat and keep machines running at same time.

Excelente empresa para crecer

Muy buena empresa para laborar si lo que buscas es un balance entre salario, prestaciones competitivas y crecimiento dentro de la empresa. Si bien no se destaca por alguna en particular, puedo decir que mantiene un muy buen balance entre estas 3 cosas y est´án en constante crecimiento, sin mencionar el jugoso bono anual que dependiendo de tu rendimiento se incrementa, muy bueno.
