Busy my butt while the store manager stands around. Given so much work it stressed me out and I was coming from construction jobs. Big lots is absolutely ridiculous.

Great job
|
Learned a lot about working and gave me an opportunity to show them what I could do great first job.
They had amazing trainers. We watched videos and then went on the floor and put away stock to learn store layout. After a week or two of learning the store and dealing customers question I was on a register training with someone for 3 days then let on my own it was fun.

Work environment is stressful, associate complaints are ignored by management within the work place as well as management in higher positions

Arrive at work do my job and you are expected to take up the slack of the associates that prefer to do something other than their job

Be forced to do everything for all the managers and get no help whatsoever. Store manager forces you to do everything while you get no help. Nothing enjoyable about working here. Upper management doesn’t care about you either, you’re just a person
