Nothing. I would not recommend working here.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The customers were rude and ignorant. Impossible situation. Worst type of employment.

Very poor. No consideration for the employee.

Rude customers shouting and yelling at you. Hard work.

meeting people, varied job, doing something different every day
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
being talked down to, shouted at in front of members of the public. Too many people working there with big egos and feel the need to order you around despite them being your equal. Management do nothing about the work bullying.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
toxic, too many people with big egos and think they can order you around, belittle you in public and the company do not address this toxic form of bullying. The job is good it's the small team of people who ruin it for new people joining the company.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
non stop, time goes quickly and you hit the floor running all day

No management support, cutbacks on staffing numbers, bare minimum pension & living wage salary so don’t feel valued

Little opportunity for progression, & as with most retail favouritism amongst staff

Nice colleagues and fun environment

I enjoyed working there, the challenges I had was sometimes being short on the till, I learned patience and customer service.
We used to deal with difficult customers sometimes especially because their products it were expensive. The garage was new so a lot of people were asking how we got hired, many used to come and bring their CV's even if they were no longer hiring we used to call the manager to come tell them himself because they thought we didn't want to take their CV's. The place is safe because we're cashier's work there is a code to enter and the windows are a bullet proof.

Friendly staff and management was great they will give out good holiday bonus and accommodate you if you needed time off or an emergency the only bad side was the Pay other than that I would recommend for a part time extra money type of job

Absolutely disgusting management. There was no communication nor understanding. Schedules would change with no notice and they would still except you to be there without any prior knowledge of there even being a change. They promised fair wages and yet never delivered. They excepted you to do management responsibility but with no extra pay or compensation.
