My coworkers were easy to work with and have a lot of good experience

The new management team has been bringing in people they know so they can be surrounded by people who will support them when they make bad decisions. As written in the other post the people they are bringing in have zero experience in minerals. I have warned others about applying to this place and I'm glad I left because it sounds like they have no idea what they're doing.

The team that I worked with were very knowledgeable and were happy to help when you needed assistance to solve taught cases.
|
The higher management didn't seem to be able to last long and we we given zero communication as to when we were going to have a manager. We were constantly bombarded with projects to do for other departments that we were all months behind in our work. There was no one thinking about how to help. Within 6 weeks over half the team quit once we got new management. The new management team did not communicate and seemed more concerned on brining in their own people who had 0 experience working in minerlas.

On the minerals side so not as exposed to industry downturns as an E&P company
|
Weak managers can’t control employees who scream and act belligerent towards other employees. Instead they favor them to avoid further conflict
Have to work full days on Fridays.
Hard working employees are not valued and many resign or are terminated based on false rumors made by incompetent employees who feel threatened by those who actually work.
Employee disciplinary actions and terminations are not held confidential by management
