Very easy going place to work

One of the better paying jobs in the area without having a college degree. Work 100% on your own, drive company vehicle, company provided tools, plenty of PTO, and sick time. Decent health benefits. Co- workers and supervisors were all pretty good people.

Only downfalls I can really think of, you’re in a lot of homes on an everyday basis and some people live in straight filth. Have to work in homes that are filled with trash, bed bugs, rodents, roaches. You’ll see the filthiest of the filthiest. Not every house is like that but some are. Sometimes have to get into tight areas like attics and cross spaces, can’t be afraid of heights bc you’ll be climbing to the top of houses on ladders, or climbing the electric poles every single day.

Easy to break into the tech industry.

Recruiters will lie to you while trying to recruit you. Everything will be done over the phone and they will snap at you if you ask for things to be in writing. Even when they know you're getting laid off they won't inform you until the very last moment to avoid you jumping ship. They pressure you to join as an independent contractor and will encourage you to commit tax fraud. They have a completely hands off approach while siphoning off more than half of your salary for literally doing nothing. You don't even get benefits. They will offer you a raise when you go to leave but won't give it to you when it's finally time to renew after you've turned down other opportunities.
They want to pretend you're an independent contractor while not allowing you to take on other clients and while forcing you to work under a manager in the office. This company is a stop gap solution for other companies that are planning layoffs but want to hire more people first.
