No Career Prospects and growth
|
I have joined onx some 2 years ago, part of the Canadian Programs. Salary is low compared to others. There is no career pathing or career growth for hard working people except if you butter up senior management . Beware, they make a lot false promises on interview and once you are in, definitely they don't honor it.

The goals in telesales are not reasonable. They don't really care about whether you reach your goals. Almost impossible to meet your quotas if you even miss one day for being sick or anything like that. They often seem like they want you to get close to your goals so they make money, but not actually hit them so they can completely avoid paying you comp.

Lack of leadership and people development
|
ONX generally feel a good place to work, but recently they started a new Managed service called "Canadian Programs". Salary is poor compared to other companies and also there is no career development for people. Only people that are liked by the Program Director are given a chance to be promoted or to have Career development. So run away if you hear that you are going for a managed services role in the Canadian Programs! You will be filled with lots of work, overworked and pay will be low and no room to grow!

It is a great company and place to build a career. They have great benefits. Most of the people there are great to work with and I have had great bosses throughout my time there. It is also a safe environment to work in and they are big on safety.

Great company to work for unless you have health issues
|
To start off it's a really great company to work for... but that is a double edged sword as I got sick twice and had a back emergency that had to be addressed and I had notes and everything... but they fired me and said "We don't take sick notes or Drs notes" I missed a total of 6 days within 6 months for genuine reasons. So if you have a weak immune system do not work here!

I loved Bell. Never should have left but i did to chase a paycheck and it was a huge mistake. Never gain would i chase the $ because someone else left that position your filling for a reason.

Very unprofessional. Constant harassment via online correspondence for job recruitment, only to ghost you the moment you don't respond back, when they want you to. I wouldn't recommend this place to people even seeking their first job out of school. They're that ridiculous. Don't bother sending them a resume, they don't read them.
