They are managed by fear and do not promote people having their own perspectives. Leadership causes a negative work environment that is not positive for people. Barracuda will does not like anyone who speaks out for what is right, and they will promote and reward people who are unprofessional in a normal work environment. There is no accountability for people creating issues and when you look for help, it goes unanswered. Barracuda is NOT a channel-first company. They are selfish and self-serving only. The partners DO NOT MATTER. DO NOT WORK HERE IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL AND PROFESSIONAL HEALTH. Unless that voice mirrors leadership, they are an organization that does not want individual thinkers. If you have a voice or perspective different from others and do not fall in line, you will be fired or retaliated against. Leadership fires people who speak up for others and wants people to be "good soldiers". Do not expect to be promoted for doing great work. promotions are given to people who are only liked, even if they have ZERO experience in the business that are moving to. The amount of pressure and stress promoted at Barracuda is unhealthy and irresponsible. The only reason this company has been given any awards for being a good place to work is because they paid for it. The leaders that have won awards are because the company paid for it. Calling some of their "leadership" leaders in the industry is funny when NO ONE knows who they are and they have done nothing the drive success in the business. I recommend trying to get an 8a-5p or 9a-6p shift if you want your evenings during the week. Management is very understanding about the weather conditions and will accommodate WFH days for employees that live 1+ hours away from the office. Pay is below the average IT company so keep this in mind when applying.
