Job Summary The Analyst / Treasury Operations position supports the Finance Director in all cash management activities including daily cash operations, ensuring adequate liquidity to legal entities while continuously updating cash forecasts. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Perform daily cash management operational processes for multiple bank accounts
• When required, perform borrowing or investment activities
• Forecast daily, weekly and monthly cash needs, ensuring adequate liquidity
• Manage all corporate bank account activities
• Perform periodic review of banking fees and services
• Prepare, transact and document all wire transfers in accordance with established policies and procedures
• Monitor covenants and perform reporting requirements for borrowing agreements
• Develop and maintain debt amortization schedules
• Assist in developing the annual interest expense budget and perform interest expense variance analyses
• Monitor and support intercompany borrowings
• Maintain adequate records of all cash transactions
• Coordinate entries for monthly and quarterly accounting close and reporting activities
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of audits, both internal and external.
• As needed, assist with analysis of credit risk for new and existing counterparties, and monitoring in accordance with tariff requirements
• As needed, assist with tracking credit collateral requirements, restricted cash and related interest
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of treasury systems
• Assist with developing written procedures and schedules for cash management processes
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience • 3+ years of experience in Treasury Operations, Finance or related field, preferably with a regulated utility
• Knowledge of regulated utility industry accounting standards and practices – preferred
• Experience with cash management tools and techniques – preferred
• Aptitude for continuous learning
• Ability to identify and eliminate unnecessary work and non-value added activities
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Excel and Word

Job Summary BHE GT&S is seeking a Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Chemical Engineering student for an exciting Summer 2023 Internship! Join our team at our Cove Point Office Building in Lusby, MD!
BHE GT&S is an interstate natural gas transmission and storage company headquartered in Richmond, Virginia, that became a standalone subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Energy in November 2020. We operate more than 5,560 miles of gas transmission line and 756 Bcf of underground storage in the eastern U.S., along with gathering, processing and field services businesses. We operate in 12 states. BHE GT&S is an industry leader in liquefied natural gas solutions, through initiatives such as Pivotal LNG and our 25% operating stake in the Cove Point LNG facility in Lusby, Maryland. The energy we deliver supports major distribution utilities, power plants and manufacturing. Our premier storage operations provide dependable, flexible support for direct customers and neighboring pipelines. At our multiple interconnects – especially the liquid South Point hub – BHE GT&S services support both producers and consumers, ensuring competitive access to abundant energy.
Through your internship you will provide assistance on various natural gas transmission and storage projects and be a part of the day to day functions at the Cove Point site. You will also assist with the management of change process, including field walkdowns as well as engineering documentation review and revision. Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience Qualified candidates will possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
Currently be enrolled in a 4 year ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree Engineering program;
Prefer Mechanical, Electrical, Process, and Chemical Engineering programs (Engineering Technology degree programs are not acceptable for Engineering internships at BHE GT&S).
Students must have an anticipated graduation date between December 2023 and May 2025.

Job Summary Birdseye Renewable Energy (“BRE”) is a wholly owned affiliate of Dominion Generation, Inc. based in Charlotte, NC. BRE has twin priorities. First, BRE leads utility scale solar and storage development of contracted assets with key C&I and utility customers in select markets within the broad geography of “Eastern US” for ownership by Dominion Generation. Second, BRE supports the development of solar (and battery storage) assets in the Commonwealth of Virginia in furtherance of the Virginia Clean Economy Act.
This position is responsible to facilitate multiple relationships, contributors and resources involved in the development and successful implementation of the process for the organization projects. Specific responsibilities include:
Interact with landowners, local government officials, project neighbors, investor representatives and utility contacts across multiple geographies to advance utility scale solar projects.
Support the negotiation of land agreements through financial modeling and analysis of site constraints.
Coordinate the preparation and submission of interconnection, applications and management of interconnection processes across various utilities/RTOs/ISOs.
Manage consultants and vendors responsible for critical development tasks to ensure on-time delivery and accuracy of required work projects.
Coordinate the preparation, and submission of regulatory documents for submission to the appropriate regulatory agencies.
Distill relevant insights from state energy policies, utility Integrated Resource Plans and other public industry sources that lead to potential business opportunities.
Conduct ad-hoc research and analysis to advance new market and business strategies.
Relocation assistance can be offered to the successful eligible candidate. Strong preference for Charlotte, but location is flexible.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned.

Job Summary Selected student(s) will gain utility knowledge in the following areas based upon the student’s area of interest and business need including but not limited to:
Planning and designing electric transmission and distribution systems
Preparing detailed drawings

Job Summary
This role will be filled at the entry or intermidiate level depending on the qualified candidate's experience and education.
Instrument & Control Technician I - Entry Level:
This role installs, maintains, and troubleshoots instrumentation, control circuits and equipment related to natural gas processes such as the compression, dehydration, measurement, transmission and storage of natural gas. Installation includes mounting, wiring, connecting, testing, configuring, and programming instruments and devices. Maintenance includes routine calibration, and functional testing of process instruments and devices, documentation of calibration data collected during inspections utilizing the instrument inspection monitoring system, verification of data communication systems that provide real time process and alarm information to the facility control center. Troubleshooting includes the utilization of equipment such as a laptop computer, multi-meter, instrument/device communicator, device software, documenting process calibrator, etc. Develops and maintains interactive work relationships to accurately and effectively complete job responsibilities. Directs, advises, instructs, inspects, supports, and/or assists contractors and employees in the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of assets. Ensures regulatory and compliance standards are met.
Instrument & Control Tech II - Intermediate Level:
This role will inspect, test, service, repair, calibrate, and install indicating, recording, and automatic control instruments such as flow meters, pressure gauges, thermometers, regulators, and similar components in a power station. Locate cause of defective performance of instruments, report findings to supervisor, and replace component parts as required. Use portable pressure gauges, manometer, and other similar test equipment. Perform preventive maintenance. Test flue gas, read meters, and record data as required. Perform tuning tasks on single loop controls. Maintain and perform necessary changes to drawings related to instrumentation. Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:
Instrument & Control Tech I requires a minimum of 2 years experience.
Instrument & Control Teck II requires a minimum of 5 years experience.
Both positions require at least a minimum of one year direct hands-on experience in instrumentation, PLCs and Computer Systems .Knowledge of reciprocating and turbine engines, gas dehydration, measurement, environmental motoring, compression and supporting systems. Knowledge of electric driven compressors may be required. Knowledge of electrical and electronic theory and principles. Knowledge of Measurement devices (Press, Flow, Temperature, Moisture, Vibration, Speed, Density, Level) and ability to calibrate the same. Job Summary

This role provides varied support and assistance to operating unit management, Generalists and employees on human resources programs and policies. Administers company human resources processes, programs, policies, and procedures within operating unit to ensure consistency and legal compliance. Job Summary Performs and/or reviews engineering calculations, analysis, research and design. Job Summary continued An Engineer in Substation and Transmission Line Civil Engineering Standards would be expected to:
Design lines and substation structures, to include preparation of steel performance drawings, fabrication drawings.
Support roadway design requirements and review of 3rd party designs for access to substations and line right-of-way.
Develop specifications and calculations for line design and substation design groups to use when completing detail design of substations.
Develop specifications for oil-containment systems and substation buildings with vaults.
Support the structural aspect to electrical connections, and forces applied to use of conductors (wire, pipe conductors) using aluminum and stain-less steel hardware.
Work closely with project civil engineers and designers to coordinate the design/site customization of structural elements within an overall substation design.
Represent global steel fabrication requirements and approved steel suppliers.
Lead substation building expansion requirements and new building specification requirements gathering.
Develop, support, and help maintain substation technical specifications. Sample specifications include: substation concrete specifications, substation steel specifications, substation fence specifications, substation oil containment specifications and substation welding (aluminum and steel) specifications.
Establish an industry presence in substation specific committees and working groups. For example, participate in IEEE Std. 605 (Air-insulated bus design) and ASCE 113 (substation structure design standards) working groups.
Support the structural component of engineer-procure-construct (EPC) evolutions within substation projects. For example, projects that relate to the turn-key installation of Gas-Insulated Substations (GIS), Flexible AC Transmission System (FACTS) devices, switchgear, fences, walls and helical pier foundation systems.
Perform structural reviews and written evaluations of existing foundations and steel structures during emergency equipment replacement evolutions (including foundation assessments for large power transformers, circuit breakers, capacitor banks, etc.,) with an emergency spare.
Provide normal and emergency (real-time) support for operation and construction evolutions. For example, travel path assessment for bringing a replacement transformer into an existing substation.
Perform other duties as requested or assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience The knowledge, skills, abilities and experiences required for entry into this job include the following:
Engineer I: 0-2 years of relevant engineering experience
Engineer II: 3+ years of relevant engineering experience
Engineer III: 5+ years of relevant engineering experience

Experience using MicroStation is a plus.
Experience using Autodesk Civil 3D is a plus.
Experience with Math Cad is a plus.

Job Summary There are three positions which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidates education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities.
Dominion Energy’s GIS IT group is looking for a Software Systems Engineer or Senior Software Systems Engineer to join their team. These positions will be responsible for providing feasibility studies, systems analysis documents, QA walkthroughs and project estimates. The incumbents must be able to design complete solutions for new enterprise applications and provide improvements for existing solutions. These roles work with multiple business units, in multi-platform environments, on multi-project assignments. These positions require strong analytical, communication, coordination, planning and organizational skills. Positions will be available which will be filled at the level commensurate with the successful candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
