Not a bad place to work
|
Overall the job itself isn't bad. It has its moments where it can be frustrating, but what job doesn't have that honestly. It can be annoying during attempting to catch people when you don't have an officer. Overall I do like the job, would recommend anyone giving it a shot, it is definitely a learning experience.

They lie about commission

They promise you commission but adjust numbers do you don’t get the full commission or none at all. Managers just care about sales and profits. Yes you get an hourly wage but when your promised commission you should get it.

Worked a cosmetic counter, was overall an ok job but weekends and holidays and annual inventory was the downside. Management was fair and nice. Coworkers were great.

This was 15 yrs ago. Under staffed and couldn’t get proper training. So it made it hard when you had a customer needing something from a different location. I would constantly need help but would have to wait or try to find someone. But there was barely anyone there to help.

good work place, terrible managers/boss.

meeting sales goals, taking lunch, and keeping area maintained.
not all of the managers are bad but they act really stuck up.
the hardest part of the job is being on your feet all day.
They terminated me because i was approaching my due date - then said i could come back, and wouldn't accept my application.
