Most of the places I work not Communication I have depression anxiety and diabetes my situation wasn’t handled in the good way that why I leave the company I put my 2 Weeks I find another job that I love that I like and I feel Safe

Amazing coworkers, difficult to move up the ladder

Guest interactions can go one of two ways, and fortunately when it goes bad management is very good about backing up cast members
Certain work accommodations can be difficult to obtain (especially in certain roles) mostly because of the costume requirements for all on-stage cast members- prepare to be assertive and informed if they try and transfer you to another role instead of allowing reasonable accommodation
All in all the work culture is great, I’ve never worked with such wonderful people and your coworkers really have your back with the tougher guests

Huge network and connection to other cast members, easy to pick up shifts and find company information
|
Difficult to advance depending on the route you are wanting, higher-up corporate jobs typically hire outside the company

Other people on the college programme were really nice, regular breaks, coordinators were mostly good, all cast members have the ability to make magic moments for the guests.

Bad hours, great coworkers

I was there during the post-pandemic run of placing CPs in locations based solely on need and not candidate preference. I was lucky and got a great location, though I know many people were not so lucky. Overall I had a alright experience, but the hours weren't great and shift trades or days off were hard to come by.

Great place to work. Lifelong memories and friends were made. Great benefits however management becomes cliquey with specific employees and will not accept feedback or suggestions for operational needs.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The cast members you work with on stage. Also the leadership team I worked with was wonderful. The actual on stage experience with guests was fun. The best part was the perks you got from the company: entrance to Parks, discounts on March and Company store.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I would say the most difficult part was difficult guests, few and far between. Staying in positive Disney mode was difficult during those times.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The area I worked in was great. It was a positive culture with positivity from the top to the cast on stage. I don't know if all areas of the Parks were like this. An example of support would be on very hot summer days leaders would check constantly to make sure you had water and if needed you could take a break. On occasion they would supply popsicles.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You would arrive at work and pick up your 1st rotation. You would continue with rotation until break. We had a decent break area. Since I was part time I had two breaks in a day. of 6 hours. Cast was always supportive. I was fortunate to be in a theater setting so you would rotate in and out doors. Our rotations were great. I usually got to work 30 minutes before shift.

Challenging tasks, competitive environment

Competitive, altho surrounded by friendly people.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I was spending most of my time in the office handling animation work, reporting to my supervisor. We have great bond among the fellow artists, when time allows we will take afternoon coffee break in the pantry discussing both work and leisure topics. When it's called for we will stay late to get jobs done, with dinner provided.

Working there was really fun if you’re a young adult. Don’t recommend if you have people to take care of and a lot of bills. You get to go to the parks for free too
