Managers are a hit or miss. A manager in particular dangled the idea of a promotion but never delivered despite the hard work.
Younger seniors are often confidently wrong when they give counsel. It's better to do your own research or you can be led astray.
Senior analytical work is dodgier than it should be.
A senior once copied the bulk of my work and passed it off as their own.
