Wonderful supervisor only reason to stay . Management is terrible selfish no knowledge of phlebotomy only how to line his pockets. Management is cheap heartless and selfish. How can you received covid bail out 7 million and not give your staff anything for working everyday through the pandemic.

Productive but you work alone
|
I recently started with this company as a phlebotomist, the pay is okay and the hours are nice. However, It is ALWAYS busy and you work ALONE. They will not put a second person to help you on site, you rarely get a lunch break due to how busy it is.

Great place to work

I am a new phlebotomist at the company, it has been a month since I have started. This is my first job opportunity as a phlebotomist, and I chose a great place to start. My location isn’t too busy so I have much opportunity to learn, you get trained by coworkers not management. This isn’t a bad thing at all, my coworkers have my back and they taught me well, with a lot of patience. Being that I am new I was unsure of what a phlebotomist should get compensated, I make enough but I wish I had asked for more; maybe they would have been open to it.we will see. I also like that there is no micromanaging and you have resources if you have questions/need help. The training is good because they don’t just throw you to the wolves, I was trained over two weeks. You do work alone most of the time so be prepared to run the location on you own. I am self sufficient so this does not bother me. Overall, if you are new to phlebotomy positions or even if you have years worth of experience, this is a good place to work.

No micromanaging, good hours (they close early but you get full time hours), overtime available if you want it, rotating saturdays, you get a week day off if you work a Saturday, pay is alright just know what to ask for

A typical work day for a person in the supply department consists of low orders in the morning and a very average(60 orders) to a massive amount of orders to do(140 orders). The most enjoyable part about the job was the satisfaction after completing a bunch of orders and mail on a Friday afternoon.

10 minute breaks and short lunch break up to 30 minutes.

I enjoyed working here only for the experience and the coworkers. Other than that management is awful. A lot of favoritism, micro managing everyday running audits to see if you did your work but doesnt do work themselves. They fire people almost every month. D

Great coworkers, poor work environment

Work days required the ability to think independently and were spent contacting clients, patients, & insurance companies, confirming claims were submitted properly in a timely fashion, and providing status reports of assigned responsibilities. I became familiar with commercial & government insurance websites, procedures, and billing guidelines which is very valuable in all aspects of the medical billing industry. The management was closed-minded and did not respect employees. The overall culture was excellent due to the employees. The hardest part of the job was offering suggestions without offending supervisors. The best part of the job was the unannounced benefits such as buffets for reaching quarterly expectations.
