The "our time" philosophy sounds great on paper but has led to a lot of animosity among coworkers and management. A lot of worrying about what others are doing and a lot of finger pointing. It seems to be more important to be friends with your boss then the quality of work you do. Management from foreman down lacts real leadership ability and has, at times, cause an "inmates running the asylum" situation. Im not prevy to what is said to leaders above the forman level, but I really believe they are being fed a bunch of smoke based on what happens out in the field. The properties include conventional, heavy oil, shallow gas and deep gas. While I worked there they had ~600 employees. They have reorganized their organization with numerous lay-offs due to the challenging commodity prices.
