Pay & benefits When the Pandemic hit, corporate sent an email out saying they were cutting all employees wages by 6% negating the meager raise I received at the start of the year. Management In a time when we needed a job most during a pandemic, they cut our pay Overall Maybe I’m disillusioned because they cut our pay during the pandemic, but it seems as though they cut corners wherever possible. Since I started working here, it seems every 6 months they reevaluate their employees and fire whoever they don’t deem essential. Leaving the rest of us understaffed, under payed, and overwhelmed. Also they do this thing where they schedule you to work 10 days or more in a row, but the way payroll works out, you don’t get any overtime because the next five days roll into the next week. There is an unproductive creative control complex amongst all employees. There is head of news, head of production, head of sales, even the HR lady thought she was top dog. It was ridiculous. Impossible to get things done correctly in a way to help the company grow. The people there micro manage every inch of your day and are viciously competitive. There was a mean 'popular' high school clique environment.
