Good pay but poor managment
|
This place is good for those wanting to begin their careers however the team you work in will greatly determine how manageable the work in of itself will be. Poor work-life balance given the nature of the industry, the organization tries to work in an agile framework but have no idea what they are really doing.

The hours can be excessive during installs and new facility installs
|
In general the job was mostly traveling to various facilities in different states and installing, changing or repairing both back office and gaming floor problems. The people I worked with were decent for the most part, of course there are always ones that are difficult to work with but that comes with the territory in the gaming industry,

Travel, meeting interesting people from diverse backgrounds, pay was decent

Some people who thought they knew how to manage others and were sorely mistaken

I had a simple job as a cashier, so I thought. I was involved in a toxic work environment where our booths supervisor got away with murder. Her and her hand picked senior, we were to not only guess but the cashiers as well. They believed they could do whatever they wanted since there was little to no supervision.(Best bet was to contact HR) Although this make working even more awkward. The senior even had off on weekends when really they were getting paid to be there on weekends. The most enjoyable part was being able to relax during downtime. I think if me and my coworkers had a more positive and professional booth, we would have enjoyed the company with this easy job. It was also impossible for anyone to take off besides the supervisor and senior... & not to mention there was no moving up with these two being there.

EVERI purchased our company and tried nasty tactics to get us to quit

A typical day required contacting clients to deal with issues, address requests and software changes. Manage the project team assigned to the client to confirm quality and customer satisfaction. When our comapany in Michigan was purchased by EVERI in LasVegas, the management team above suddenly felt I was doing a terrible job, I did not make meetings I was not told about, I was to train a new Project Manager from LasVegas, and then was told I missed the training she was to give me. Management became very vile in their discussions which made me work all the harder to improve. I found out later EVERI was attempting to make me quit by creating a hostile working environment. When I tried even harder, I was finally laid-off with "hush" money" as .provided as a deterrent to place a complaint. I took the "Hush Money". Another former employee did not due to EVERI's attempts to make us quit and things did not go well with her actions to work through Human Resources.

good pay but employee satisfaction depends on what team you belong
|
typical day a work is you are given your marching orders, then manager micromanage you down to the mynute level. Management provides you with no training and no process to guide you. Mangement expects you to excel in the shortest amount of time. Management belittle and says derogative language towards others while talking to you. You in return will be in the edge because you dont know what the management is saying about you behind your back. Managers are smart but they lack empathy and plays favorites. I am only speaking for the team I belong. The most enjoyable part of the job is when the time clock hits 5pm.

This company is beyond trash . They have unbelievable expectations and operate like a civilized military( for field service). They call you show NO MATTER WHAT! I had to cancel many life parties / plans just to go to a low tier, garbage filled , disgusting casino , to fill those greedy pockets. During the quarantine of the corona we were immediately furloughed , without hesitation, and we’re sworn to sign an agreement. Stating each employee took a 15-20% pay cut upon reemployment. STAY AWAY from
This company. I wish nothing but the worst for Everi and hope the entire industry sinks beyond recovery.

low pay but hours were there. a good foot in the door to casino gaming. in a covid 19 world Casino Gaming has an extremley uncertain future. Everi never seemed to have any sense of cohesion and there. lots of animosity between departments. software was constantly an issue.managers were sketchy and quick to blame technicians.
