The person will be able to research and create reports for regular as well as ad-hoc projects. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to be successful. Requirements for the job include being hands on and detail oriented to ensure the accuracy of the invoice entry process. The person in this position should have an understanding of general accounting, chart of accounts and cost center structure, account reconciliation and resolution.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities  Ensures that all incoming vendor invoices are entered and coded within established timeframes to take advantage of discounts offered, and that issues and open items are investigated, communicated and resolved in a timely manner. Handle vendor and internal inquiries timely and accurately Research vendor statements vs. payment history to ensure accurate records Ensures that all expense coding is correct and that required coding changes are made timely and interfaced to Jack Henry Perform EOD processing to include but not limited to creating the AP accrual, AvidPay, ACH, Direct Deposit, checks and interface to Jack Henry Utilizes communication and interpersonal skills to support timely completion of audits and compliance reporting. Summary: This individual manages the daily functions of the Commercial Loan Servicing Center.  The Loan Servicing Center (LSC) has the major responsibilities of ensuring that the documentation created for loan closings is correct and that all loan documents and collateral are exception-free and filed in compliance with the Bank’s loan policies.  The LSC also encompasses Data Entry which is responsible for uploading of loans and other system maintenance. Account maintenance, wire transfers, fraud packets, etc. Process reports as needed, including but not limited to the Nonsufficient Funds (NSF) report. Assist in a Teller capacity when needed. Financial Center Security Coordinator duties and/or Financial Center Disaster Recovery Notebook procedures as needed and required. Provide consistent, distinctive service to all customers when delivering the FirstBank service experience.
