Terrible work life balance, some of the things you’re expected to do on this job are so ridiculous and unsafe. Customers don’t care about you, just deliver their drywall. Management is spiteful and immature. Helpers are paid scum wages for what they have to endure on the day to day. Do yourself a favour stay far away from FBM

|
If you want no work life balance, below average pay and management that doesn't do their job but still has a job. This is the right place to be. Be prepared to be a mechanic, operator, site super, window installer etc.... and not get compensated for it. The benefits are just atrocious for a physically demanding job. $400 a year for massage?

Cool place to work at had a lot of tension with one of my bosses delivering drywall and ceiling tiles to different construction sites work at your own pace basically great job appreciated my time there looking forward to working back there soon.

Long hours, good overtime,
|
Management is garbage, doesn't care about you as a person, only how much you can deliver. Will promise a raise and then make you fight tooth and nail for 6 months before you actually get it. Backstabbing/talking behind everyones back everywhere in the company, most of the guys are good but there's some really bad apples that make everything. The office managers couldn't care a bit about the warehouse workers or the guys who make the actual deliveries.

I myself enjoyed the hard work and the challenges faced everyday. I had a fallout with a coworker whom I looked up to which ultimately led to me leaving FBM. But I can't give a bad review for the company because of my personal experience. If you love hard work and challenging yourself then FBM is for you.

This place is pretty okay, the hours fluctuate between 13 hour days to 7 hours on bad days. Lots of downtime but raises are few and far in between.
