Leadership has no idea how hard their teams work, and they are unbelievably out of touch with everyday life. On top of that, if you are not Mormon and/or a man, you will not make it far in this company. Nearly every decision-maker here is Mormon, and they do not treat you as an equal if you come from a different religious background. I have witnessed some truly brilliant, kind, caring people, be slowly worn down over time by increasing demands and lofty goals made by people who do not understand how things work in the day-to-day. And if you have a bad/off-day? Forget it. Don't ever show you are annoyed or frustrated or even discontent, or it will reflect poorly on you. This place thrives on contrived happiness and toxic positivity. I would stay far away from this company - it's run by people placed in power due to family ties rather than abilities and skills, and is only successful due to the incredibly hard work of people who will never get the recognition (or salary) they deserve. What is the best part of working at the company? Franklin Covey is a great place to work. Benefits, most positions are completely remote at this point, and not a lot of micromanagement. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? Company is all over the board. Not a lot of top down communication other than a quarterly meeting. They seem to jump around on how they think it's best for the company to move forward. I think they are headed in a outsource as much as possible future. It would be nice to believe that working your butt off for a company results in loyalty but don't expect it. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? The work environment has changed as employees work remotely for the most part. However there are some really great people. Life long friends are common, people collaborate well together and most of the employees go above and beyond to create the best products and services for their customers. Now, if the decision makers really appreciated efforts instead of focusing only on the money makers it would help the culture a ton. What is a typical day like for you at the company? The issue is they don’t pay the operational side for the appropriate compensation for the magnitude of work.
