This is not a family friendly company, nor is it one that is understanding of unexpected health or family issues. I entered the industry with no prior experience in this field and was thoroughly trained by the company. The job itself stays interesting most of the time, especially if you enjoy puzzles or have an analytical mindset, but can sometimes be monotonous. Direct supervisors allow for independence and do not micromanage our time, while still making themselves available to us when we need them. After initial training, the position became fully remote. Although management is definitely always going to have a hierarchy when it comes to preference, if that doesn’t bother you, then welcome. There is a very high turn over rate! Not enough room for growth. There are a couple of attorneys who are dramatic and yell; most attorneys try to avoid them by working from home when those attorneys are scheduled to be in office, by wearing ear pods, or simply requesting to move to another office. Benefits are great so that’s definitely something employees should take advantage of, but forget about annual raises and recognition. If you try to speak up, it will come back to you and you will become a black sheep in the office. One employee was walked out because she spoke up and HR didn’t do anything. If you see this, just know what you’re up for. And if you’re pretty, be careful with certain people. They will either hate on you or get too close for comfort. If you suck up to everyone, you won’t be treated with respect unfortunately. They do happy hours frequently but some supervisors take those happy hours a little too seriously and do it on their lunch break. Frequently. If you want to feel like a grain of salt in the corporate world, here’s the perfect job for you :) Sometimes they have free lunches.
