Resources scarce and company focused mostly on wholesale contract.

- Some good people work there, and most are technically competent
- Team co-worker support is strong.
- Pay was above average.
- Some products are top-tier compared to the market.

-Training and career development non-existent, even when requested multiple times to give us what we need to do their job successfully.
- HR staff is woefully slow at doing most tasks.
- Executive management, logistics staff, supply chain staff, lab all focused more on large wholesale contracts than serving all the individual clients.
- Hard to get support, help, education, timely answers from most departments.
- Company still has a bad name in marketplace with some customers.
- Most of the market using commodity chemicals, and FloTek not competitive on pricing at times.
- Executive staff out of touch with the market in several basins FloTek tries to compete within.
- No course correction, education, help given during employee evalations, they just lay off when you get on naughty list.

Upper management was fine but not typically transparent
Good incentives like employee stock program
|
Sold off and closed entire divisions while maintaining an air of positivity around the situation.
They set a precedent of severance pay for employees who were laid off before the sale of Spidle Turbeco to NOV of 1 week pay per year of employment and everyone who stuck it out to the bitter end received half.

Getting exactly half of the severance pay that lesser employees received felt horrible.

-very flexible work schedule
-Opportunity to work from home during the pandemic was a plus

-Since company layoffs that started in April 2020, no room for career growth.
-Organization hired more VPs during pandemic while laying off and making organizational changes.
-company slowly getting rid of folks/groups that was hired under the old CEO.
-company was stuck on trying to raise the stock price
-purchased a data company JP3 in midst of pandemic. SMH
-seemed like the company had a buddy system going on with all of the VPs being hired.
