It was good experience learning how to door pull, cold call, close the deal and manage accounts. When the services worked great- things were great. When clients weren't happy, we didn't have a lot of support. I actually lost a big name client because a higher up oversold a product. I spent many years with Gannett. I mostly enjoyed my work there. In my most recent role my team and boss were great to work with. The work was generally rewarding. Newspapers bring value local communities. Unfortunately the industry continues to be in decline and as a result they're regularly reducing staff.
