EB consistently pays just below market value once you're hired in.
Software tools are antiquated and often problematic.
High attrition.
The merit raise system puts you in direct competition with coworkers. If your group is full of excellent employees, you'll all get a mediocre raise. To get consistently good raises, you have to be a star in a group of "boat anchors".
