It pays well, there’s overtime, there are tons of opportunities for growth. Big place, has a cafe, a gym, events here and there. What is the most stressful part about working at the company? I’m in a job with no accountability. If you’re not the management kids’ buddy, they’re going to sabotage and gossip while your good work goes unnoticed. What is the work environment and culture like at the company? It’s like a high school with the management kids. All the workers are older and experienced, but a lot of the management kids are right out of school and they constantly try to make it look like they’re smarter than the workers, by any means necessary. What is a typical day like for you at the company? The finance team is filled with former GE employees who think they are superior to every one else. As a new hire under Haier's ownership, I routinely felt like my opinion didn't matter. They are not outside the box thinkers and only want large public university type of soldiers that will follow marching orders.
