You are legally responsible for the safety of railroad crossing and vital components ( CPU cards RYI cards that are vital to the crossing safety are not ordered or got in for years in some cases even with the eyes of the FRA ( federal railroad Administration) looking at there operation so if they don’t listen to them, what’s the chance them listening to you .. but if God forbid something happen the maintainer | supervisor will take the hit and being at will fired.
