Hours/shifts are based on seniority. Decent pay, tips are not bad. Free lunch helps save money, several paid holidays (double pay). No standards in hiring so you might work with someone who has no business being a valet.

Over work and much under paid for all I need do at this company

What is the best part of working at the company?
My chief engineer is willing to enhance my a/c skills as well as computer skills
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
It supposed to be a team, however my full time staff try to work it's minimum and my p/t staff seams to do the bulk of work. I'm a hands on supervisor doing most work orders guys work under me did not have a lot of maintenance technician experience Im trying to teach them more.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Everyone wants to be the supervisor and no one wants to be the employee, they try to do least amount of work lots of buddy buddy system
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Constantly working from time I start sometimes go through lunch and later part of afternoon if can I'll eat my lunch lots of leaks,clogs electrical issues phone and TV issues lots walking and since staff elevator down lots of walking up and down stairs

I go to work and do my job. Management is good. They are better then most I have had in the past.
They are good in giving you the time off you want/need.

Company is great and so are the benefits but pay was low and tips were horrible. Earned $10 some shifts. Management was nice and helpful. Coworkers who were liked received the best shifts and made the best money. Everyone else got the left over shifts.

The hotel itself was very old and needs a renovation smells of mold and other nasty smells

A typically at day at work can be hectic at times to start off with. As the day continue it gets better and easier. The things I learned on the clock is self perseverance and take time consumption to make sure the job is done the correct way. It is not nothing wrong with a little criticize by management if the job is not done correctly. Or is not nothing wrong with asking for help or see if the job is completed the right way. At the workplace certain things should be allowed and not allowed, my job at work is to do what I need to be doing to proceed thru out the day and not the opposite. I am at work suppose to be doing work and not doing nothing else but work. Most hardest part about a job at times is have to have certain things to be completed at a timely matter. Most enjoyable part about having a job is to show up and do your job the correct way and help others if needed.
