Glad agents. Poor management.
Management does not talk to field so decisions are made blindly.
Too many political games played at this organization. People are promoted for loyalty and not experience.
Money wasted on large projects that are not vetted.

Don’t bother
|
Do not expect any promotions unless you are friends with someone in management or the corporate office. The company always tells you what they think you want to hear then their promises never come to pass. Management plays favorites HARD and you’re beyond micromanaged here, right down to how many seconds you’re on each call. You’re expected to work fast paced but grossly underpaid for the large work loads. Management CONSTANTLY changes and NO ONE listens to the employees point of view. Very frustrating place to work with no appreciation!

Terrible management & Rude, Uncaring Management

Worked here for 6 months, supposed to be 100% sales which turned into ALL the office’s marketing and workshops PLUS 100% sales then was told I “wasn’t performing” to the agent’s expectations all while my salary was $10k less than the producer I replaced. Only 1 employee in that office who’s lasted over a year with this particular agent. Couldn’t get away from there fast enough.

You can not win at this company. Heavy claim volume, lack of training, and managers/directors are very condescending. Expectations are not reasonable in conjunction with the claim volume. You can not keep up with the volume, but you will be on an action plan very quick if you fall behind. They do not appreciate their employees and employees are not compensated for their hard work. Directors who are over metrics & analytics often send very aggressive emails and are constantly telling employees what they are doing wrong.

At this point, Not many pros, Maybe the flexibility you have with taking off, You don’t have to fight for vacay or random days off.
|
Everything, Everyone wants out at this company, and everyone is looking to leave, If Horace Mann’s property dept, doesn’t get it together starting with the mindsets of directors and management, Things are going to continue to decline, and this dept will have no one left.
