This was a smokescreen for horrible leadership by managment and senior executives. Don't be fooled by these benefits. Health insurance changed to employee paid and management forcing you to take "anonymous" surveys on leadership. That is until they realize you haven't taken the survey, and they call you out for it. When you answer honestly, they retaliate with write up and termination. Managers will encourage you to share personal information with them, which is highly inappropriate. This place is a total joke! This also made us feel no job security. The lack of communication with the main office was very unsettling, we always had to learn of changes or updates via word of mouth. It was very disappointing. They mentor you as you develop and help you use learnt skills from education in a practical way. Unfortunately, there are few opportunities to develop a career in terms of job title. In 5 years working there, no one was promoted from non-mangement to management. All management was external hires. Worked 7 days a week, 10 to 12 hours per day. Received and entered information for initial claims in system. Gave customers their claim numbers in order for them to be able to easily call for future follow-up and or additional information regarding claims. Took follow up phone calls. Assisted people with the status of their claims. Gave out Adjuster and Claims Examiner information when necessary. Very important to listen to the customers with empathy and understanding due to the catastrophic event.
