Upper management and upper hr have a reputation for being shady. Some poor decisions have been made in the past 3 years since the current wave of management has been in charge. If you have a trade ie: machinist, welder, machine builder, electrician, this environment may drive you nuts in time. Waterloo was once run by engineers and people who were experienced with the trades it took to build this product. Now, management is mostly administrative in nature. Waterloo is now front heavy, full of bureaucratic red tape, politics, and overly saturated with fake ethics. People dont trust management or upper hr. If you raise concerns for decisions made, you will be black listed. Not what it was.

Company has a culture of greed and they will micromanage and instill fear to get it. Extremely short term focused. Worst place I've worked at in my 30 yr career. If you don't want to come home every night stressed and hating your job don't work here.

Be real leaders with a vision and not just focused on making the numbers every day and month which just grinds people down. Focus on the long game, supporting your people, ideas and innovation, and making IDEX a great place to work (which it most certainly isn't). Change the culture to one focused on best practices and being an industry leader not at the tail end. There needs to be room, time, and support for process improvement versus swimming against the tide to try and do the right thing.
