Upper management and top executives have no clue on how to operate in this industry. Upper management and top executives are in over their heads. There is no structure to the organization, they have no idea on how to acquire decent leads and have a terrible training program. Plus, this company does not have any idea on how to forecast sales/sales goals, thus the sales force rarely was paid any commission. If you are thinking about working here - run! If they fire you in less than 2 years and they will hold your license until you pay every dime back. That means you cannot get another job in medicare sales until you pay them back. So considering that they get you contracted with many different carriers that means no job for you until they get their money. Make sure you read all of your paperwork BEFORE U AGREE AND SIGN. I HAD BEEN SELLING MEDICARE INSURANCE FOR MANY YEARS AND LESS THAN 5 MONTHS WITH THIS COMPANY (NEW TO MEDICARE SALES THAT IS WHICH MEANS THERE WAS ALOT OF INSTABILITY, UNCERTAINTY, UNORGANIZED, DELAYING AND NONSENSE) I CAN NO LONGER SELL UNLESS I PAY THEM BACK EVERY DIME BEFORE RELEASE FROM THEM. DESPITE BEING UNFAIRLY FIRED. I'VE WORKED WITH OTHER CALL CENTERS AND NEVER HAVE I COME across the Company holding you until you pay licensing fees back. I've heard of companies holding for 30 days, the most 90 days. Supportive in the aspect of help when you need it and understanding meaning needing time off for school functions, appointments, not feeling well, etc. Hardest part of the job is it can be very repetitive so you have to find ways to stay engaged. It is nice to finally find a company that provides a professional, compliant and confidential work environment. Benefits are some of the best offered in comparison to my previous employers, paid holidays and a good amount of paid time off as well. Be careful this position as an agent is temporary but they do not tell you that. They have very expensive benefits that do not last because they hire agents only for aep then dump you after it's over. It would be helpful to tell you this in advance so you can prepare for it and your family/kids wouldn't be affected so badly when this happens. You'll be without health coverage when they suddenly remove your position and give you 5 seconds notice. Not worth it in my opinion. I could have saved my family many heartaches from choosing this position and being blindsided by IHC Group. Horrible place to work. Horrible incoming leads no one wants to even talk to you and the rate they want your sales percentage for a decent bonus is nearly impossible with the leads provided.
