Take the good with the bad

There are a lot of great people who work there. It's honestly the best part of IHG and the reason I stayed.
|
Like all big companies, they suffer from having lots to do and too few people to get it done. Since 2020, some teams have been severely understaffed given what's being asked of them.
Also, as the company has transformed over the last few years, a lot of knowledgeable people have left. It's made it difficult to get the day to day things done.

Lean into DEI at senior levels and truly understand what that means. It's not just about putting people in positions, it's about making sure that there is a supportive culture and environment around them. People of color deserve a chance to progress into leadership roles.
