Great job if your single

Personal experience dealing with my department managers at the corrugator was great, they were very knowledgeable and helpful during the training process and throughout the shift, coworkers were 50/50 depending on everyone’s mood and what shift you are on. 1/2 were helpful and the other half were lazy and waited for you to do their work. Everyone is out for themself don’t trust anyone.

It was a great place to work in my opinion it was steady moving and kept me busy well I at least in my area . And I learned quite a bit of how to do different tasks while I was there.

Great Pay with Drawbacks
|
I started off as a temp feeding a machine on the far side of the plant. Over two years I apprenticed under an operator and took on their duties. The atmosphere is easygoing and not stressful, but the severe lack of manpower on every shift makes production stressful. Most machines are relatively new, but they are not maintained well enough and are quite worn because the maintenance team also lacks the manpower. The shift supervisors only ever come around to gossip with your assistants, they don't help, and they only care if your machine is making noise.
There is an awful 7 point system for clocking in, so God forbid you punch in a second too late. Your vacation time is often denied, you will be disciplined and subject to the point system if you go anyways.
If you're the type to put your head down and do your job then this is a poor environment for you.

My job was unique to the company and I had the flexibility to do my job. I thought I could go further,but unfortunately they outsourced the job. It was a nice flexible job,I set my own pace and goals.

Management is a joke, it's like a circus there. The floor supervisors are horrible.

Stressful, half of the equipment you work with is junk and maintenance band aids everything.

1. The environment is characterized by repetition but remains efficient. Collaboration and effective communication are essential. It is important to prioritize doing the right thing despite what others may say. Management is satisfactory but has room for improvement. The job tasks are straightforward yet repetitive, and the workplace can get uncomfortably hot in the summer despite the presence of coolers and fans. The most satisfying part of the job is leaving after a long day, knowing there will be a break of 2 or 3 days due to the rotating 12-hour shifts.

Depending on how many operators are working you may have to work 12 hours a day. Sometimes 6 days a week depending on how much work is available. They have an 8 point system. At 8 points you are terminated.
