There is not one positive item I can find to mention.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Boiler room pressure to hit numbers on a daily basis with suffocating micro-management
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Cog in a wheel. No focus on development or growth. People are openly mistreated and undermined by senior leadership on daily basis.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Dread waking up in the morning, dread getting calls from my manager, dread having to attend team "performance" calls on a 3x weekly basis.

Stressful job with great people
|
floorplan finance - blah. corporate - BLAH. Usually short staffed covering a huge territory with limited support. Driving your own vehicle without a monthly allowance (FYI). Constant travel which is expected but salaried employees involved in Business Development are paid in bonuses without direct compensation for each dealership that you, the Account Executive do all the work to sign up and get active. The access to technology and reporting was great. Good experience with extensive corporate red tape......at every corner.

One Manager between you and ALL upper management. Basically if you have a Manager like I did who was under qualified and took credit for your ideas while telling upper management you were less of a performer than you were because they didn’t like you.

Questionable ethics - no direction
|
Poorly managed from the top. They’re scrambling to catch up to competition by any means. Often misleading customers by offering services that only add costs and charges and nothing else. Will double charges on buyers and sellers. Often there are threats of cutbacks and they hold “bonuses” as a dangling carrot with unattainable goals to achieve them. Gotta love working with some sort impending punitive cutback on a bonus for not reaching ridiculous goals.

The usual corporate speak is true at this company. Do not trust corporate as they have their own incentives. However the people working in the field are generally great people. Best part about this job was working on your own without direct supervision.

All they do is lie. performance managers fudge numbers so they look good to mgmt. You have no job security. I was there for 4 yrs they would not renew my contract and gave no reason as to why. screw them.
