- culture is so toxic, you can really trauma-bond with your colleagues!

- the culture is laughably bad - was common to laugh with colleagues during and after town halls at how horrible the culture has become.
- mid-level managers range from incompetent to downright toxic (esp in DS). And in most instances, one would come from a meeting questioning if a mid-level manager had any relevant experience.
- truly, the most horrible experience of my career. If i could give more detail I would, but I've never seen anything as poorly run as this company. Run far away, fast.

Be more proactive when communicating through challenges. There have been several missed opportunities to get ahead of an issue, or at least address it early on when difficulties arise. Delays may be critical to getting the messaging right, but can also make it appear that an issue is only being addressed because employees are upset, not because it's the right thing to do. If you plan to communicate at a later date, say so and say why - the transparency is critical and will help repair some lost trust.

Risk based approach needs to be taken especially with Trust and Safety issues. Difficult working with management that doesn't necessarily understand how to use data. Priority was always "let's make support operations cheaper" vs "how do we fix actual problems on the platform". "Keep operations thin", a term I've never heard more than here. More honest way to describe this: "overwork and underpay"
I was not impacted by layoffs, I left on my own accord. I was ashamed to hear that people were laid off, and then immediately their former positions are available for hire (within a couple months, absolutely shameful). This was the major proponent of me leaving a review. They claim family culture, and here you go. At the end of the day, it's just business. Collect metadata, and sell to advertisers. I really liked the people i worked with, which is what left me so torn in whether or not to leave this review. But I know it's a hiring market right now, so people are desperate for jobs. I would strongly recommend you think twice before joining.
