Some people are very nice and open, it's a pleasure to work with very talented and caring individuals.
|
Management is tone deaf,. Layoffs happen every 2-3 months as people are being treated as numbers. Constant hiring of "consultants" to undermine the actual full-time employees. No actual culture. No promotion even after several years of work.

• Good work-life balance
• Got to work with some passionate, wonderful people
|
• Lack of culture - doesn’t seem like it’s a priority for the company to foster any sort of culture or community
• Huge lack of transparency - no one wants to answer questions about the wellbeing or future of the company or its brands. Lots of gaslighting and sometimes even hostility from management in order to avoid having to answer questions. 3-4 rounds of layoffs, brands being folded all while management and higher ups keep saying “We’re in a really good place and are not considering layoffs.”
• Horrible management - managers who show up unprepared, don’t communicate effectively, behave unprofessionally and create toxic environments for their teams are rewarded with promotions, even after their horrible performance is acknowledged by others
• Zero growth opportunities - conversations about growth and development go nowhere and are met with more gaslighting and hostility. Was told multiple times to “stop asking questions” and “stop asking about growth.”
• One of those places where you regret staying too long

Get rid of toxic, ineffective managers. Stop trying to hide that the company isn’t doing well. Your team members aren’t stupid and deserve to be treated with more respect. Stop with the gaslighting.

The only pro is that I enjoyed the array of clients I worked on.

No one here is friends. There is no camaraderie. I’ve never felt more uncomfortable at a job than I did here. No “hey how was your weekend” or anything of that sort. Management was a disaster. My personal manager made me feel like I was horrible at my job, which I was not. The salary was ridiculously low and not at all aligned to industry standards. When there were awesome creative ideas thrown around, those could never get executed upon because of cost. The work was so unmotivating / not exciting. Absolutely zero room for growth. Only way to get paid more or promoted would be to leave - which many people did. I’ve never felt so strongly about never wanting to work at this company again / encouraging others to never work here.
