When I asked for more responsibilities they gave them to me. They were very flexible with working from home and were very generous and welcoming to the team for just being an intern. If you love software, you'll be excited to get up every day and build something you yourself probably needed in the past. Our benefits package is world class. We're just beginning to roll out our first management tier; that has pro's and con's by itself, but it also means that currently there is a lot of chaos. Everyone works together to find a way through it, and trusts that we're each pursuing the same shared goal, even when we disagree on the path to get there.
