It is difficult to be promoted, they prefer that managers or more senior positions be hired from outside instead of preparing people who are already in the company, and when hiring those people the learning curve is greater and the lowest ranking person is the who trains them... then it really is a meaningless practice since if the lower-ranking employee is training that manager or senior in several of the tasks, they could have invested less time in training that person and saved themselves the learning curve so high that is made.

Management - Nepotism run rampant, and there are far too many layers of managers, no clear answers, chastised when taking advantage of anonymous feedback avenues.
Moving up here is impossible unless you are a favorite of your manager and their manager, in other words, if you give anything but a yes you will be slighted for your entire tenure.
No guidance, expectations to do more for less pay than peers, added job duties with reduced clarity.
