I had a chance to work with some really top notch people.
I enjoyed the travel both in the US and globally.
What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Stress will always come from your Manager or higher up. 3M had some real tyrants that should have been fired.
What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Collaborative work environment.
What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Depends on your job. In sales it was traveling to talk to customers to promote 3M solutions.

They will most likely stick you in scopes which is the lowest paid department but the most worked. The pay is fair and the benefits are pretty good! And they are very very stern about the rules they set in place which can be beneficial

I would not be here. The problem is, and will continue to be management. Horrible decision making and completely reactionary. We wait for problems to happen then over correct. it makes work volatile and confusing. on more than one occasion I have been lied to while being looked at in the eyes. I enjoy the people I work around and, again, the pay is good.

I had a good run with the company and generally like my manager and received help from them. I learned a lot over the years and enjoyed selling the products that were best in class. I sometimes felt the upper management was more concerned with DEI and not on sales and maintaining strong relationships with Key Contacts to drive business.

It’s….not great
|
Managment makes you feel like a child. Took away wheels off of chairs because they think it’s a safety hazard while they all have them in their office areas. Have to use safety gloves for every little thing, putty knife, scissors, etc. Hard workers are belittled by supervisors and written up over little petty things. Almost like they want to get people fired, while they are desperate for help. Only pros are some coworkers and benefits.

I’ve never been more micromanaged in my life. I had more freedom in preschool. I wouldn’t work there ever again. You could do 1000 things above and beyond your pay grade or job responsibilities and the minute you make one mistake they will write you up and after enough write ups, they will terminate you. It’s almost like that is their goal. It is a very odd place. I’ve never worked so hard for a company that didn’t appreciate anything there is no personable Aspect at this place like I said, you could do all kinds of extra work and extra effort and the minute you do one thing that goes against what they want. They will use it against you and all the extra you did will me nothing. It is a terrible place to work and a terrible atmosphere 99% of employees are very very negative and will do anything to make everyone else’s life terrible that goes for the leads as well. The leads create tons, and tons of issues because they get padded on the back for it , do not work here save yourself and do not work here
